Established India Construction/Infrastructure Business Uses ElegantJ BI to Improve Data Access and Analysis
ElegantJ BI helped a 40+ yr old, India-based construction and infrastructure management business address analytical needs with a stable, high-performance Business Intelligence solution and expert services. This business had developed an in-house ERP solution with built-in reporting to satisfy its needs but the solution was inflexible and tightly coupled with the ERP data structure and it lacked a flexible, interactive interface to personalize or format reports. Ad hoc reports and management reports were designed by IT staff and reports were often delayed by competing IT priorities.
The business wanted a BI tool that would address analytical needs - one that with seamless integration and system interoperability. The solution has been deployed to all offices and projects sites and hosted through central IT infrastructure for access by all managers and users. ElegantJ BI performed a technical and functional evaluation and proof of concept and integrated mobile BI tools with the Oracle-based ERP solution to meet the data mining and analytical needs of the users. Most of the implementation was completed by the in-house staff. Executives and power users received technical training, and HR, Project Management, QA, ISO, Accounts and Asset end-users were trained in a workshop environment.
